I was at Suncorp for two and a half years. Most of that time was working in the Online Banking team, and then I spent the final year working in their Innovation Lab in Brisbane. For the projects I worked on I conducted customer and front-end staff research, provided a UX strategy for the online team, created interaction designs and optimised patterns for a better user experience.
While in the Lab we conducted 13-week research projects and experiments to test the desirability and feasibility for potentially new business offerings. The research was conducted using Lean UX methodologies to quickly build and test our assumptions with customers.

Good Choices experiment
Researching, designing, building and testing prototypes that connected insightful data (from Suncorp Data lab, Core Logic API's and also state data sources) with choices for customers to better manage their financial choices. During the experiment we tested a working prototype in Brisbane Square branch on a large kiosk. During the experiment we partnered with both Deloittes' Digital and IBM.
A research experiment lasting 16 weeks with the aim of designing and testing tools to help customers gain insights into their financial position and spending or saving habits. A starting assumption we wanted to test was to see if customers wanted to reach 'financial wellbeing'. During the experiment I was involved in customer discussion groups, interviews, collab design, barter test, card/value sorting sessions, usability testing and surveys.
Mobile Banking App updates
In the online banking team I worked on improving the patterns and usability in the Suncorp Banking app, as well as adding new features for Android and iOS releases.
